Imagine yourself five years from now. What advice would
you give your current self for the year ahead? (Bonus: Write a note to
yourself 10 years ago. What would you tell your younger self?)
Not sure how imagining myself 5 years from now helps me give my
current self advice for ONLY the upcoming year but ok! Lol.
My advice to you for the year ahead is this. Stay positive!!! No
matter how frazzled you get, how annoyed or upset you get & no matter
how bleak things 'may' look, at 2AM on a random winter night when you
absolutely can't sleep, keep your head held high! You are a wonderful
person & I love you! With YOU working for YOU, & depending on noone
but YOU to give yourself self-worth & encouragement, nothing can pull
you down unless you let it. You are responsible for your thoughts &
actions & inactions & you are in control of your own destiny! If you
continue to stay positive, nothing is out of the question! Continue to
believe that 2011 is YOUR YEAR, & that even if by the end of 2011, it
doesn't look 'exactly' as you thought it would, it doesn't matter,
because it will still have been YOUR YEAR! Continue to work hard at
not focussing too much on details, & distancing yourself from the
outcome. Believe that you don't have to control the outcome for it to
'come out right'. Continue to love, respect & take care of yourself!
The quickest way to getting ahead is caring for yourself, because
noone else will. In other words, YOU love you & the rest will take
care of itself. Everything else will fall into place as you continue
to make progress to becoming the woman you want to be, with the life
you want to have!
You are brilliant, a Goddess & I love you!!
*I've already written the 'Dear Baby Michelle' letters*, so a note to
the teenage Michelle is in the works, but probably still a ways off.
Still recovering from the pain those first letters brought up! Lol.
